Arkansas Squirrel Hunt 1965
Back in the 1960's Elmer and Ida Bell Rea visited relatives in Boone County, Arkansas. They were invited to go squirrel hunting, Arkansas fashion.
Their host were their relatives, Harland and Ruby Rea, residents of Harrison, Boone County, Arkansas.
They took Harland's two tree dogs, a Walker and a Bluetick hound.
Thanks to the two good tree dogs, and two good shooters. They took a good haul. Count the squirrels!!
The hardest part was cleaning the catch. The wives had to pitch in and give some help. I am sure they cooked them up for supper!
